why do people on this site complain so much???

It seems that on almost every post in the "open forum" there is at LEAST 1 person that has something negative to say about someone or something someone has..It is getting rediculous..It is getting to the point where I dont even read the good threads anymore because there is always someone that is bashing someone else in it..All of you people that cry so much about what people have, do, gonna do, ride, or put in their sig should just deal with it..There is no point in leaving bad remarks about these people in the posts they create..It is pointless and you are making this site/forum suck for those people who just come here to ask questions or post their opinions..You used to come here and ask a question and get an answer, but now if you ask a question you will mostly likely get some smart *** remark and no answers at all..If you dont like what they have to say or what they ride, etc..Just deal with, dont read it and dont post..This site used to be a nice friendly site, but not anymore..YES I do agree that some people should not write what they do, but it has just turned into an entire flame fest on almost every post and it SUCKS...I know some of you wont agree with me on this, but I know some will..Sorry if this was a waste of anyones time..I would just like to see the site return to how it used to be..

Exactly!!! Most are 12-19 and dont have anything better to do than to pop off about anything posted.. Because they think it is funny..HAHA... Most of them just noticed there sacks are starting to drop and like a young buck think there smarter,tougher,than everyone online..

I agree.. Some people must just come here to flame, but alot of people need info on there bikes, parts..etc. I have also seen alot of younger people who act really mature for there age, but I still see alot more immature ones then mature.

Sadly on some posts I even see adults with smart comments which is really not needed its a post.. It would be nicer if the mods would start ip banning people (if they dont already) because most of the idiots we try and get off this wonderful site come back and bash around more. I think some sticky threads like how to post pictures in open fourm would help with annoying threads.. Or for example like in the 450r/yfz/z400..etc.. thread alot of people need jetting info. We can just have a thread for jetting info only. That would be really helpful to crack down on annoying threads because this is usually how it starts "MAN THIS HAS BEEN POSTED SOOOOOO MANY TIMES" stickys would deff help.

numbers are not really the factor. There are PLENTY of other sites that are based on more "adult" hobby's with twice the number of members as this site and they have little to no bashing... atleast to this degree.

Example: AVSForum.com (home theater) & GlockTalk.com (obvious)

ATV's are one of those hobby's that kids really like, as well as adults...your going to get friction no matter what. If the mod's start banning people for starting stupid topics or bashing, then everyone will complain how this site is run by a bunch of socialist (or democrats ;) ) ... you cant win!

I wouldnt really consider it as a complaint, but as an opinion as to what people should and should not do for certain topics/threads..Maybe it is a complaint, but I have to say if it is a complaint this is the only complaint I have had..I dont post in other peoples threads and tell them how much of an idiot they are or how stupid their question was, how crappy their quad is and so on..If I dont like what the thread is about, or dont have an answer for their question then I just dont respond to it.. i think the biggest problem with this site is that a few of the old time members started fighting... it caused bad blood and fighting and the new age now sees it... we use to bash people 3x worse then this but it was on a more controlled and none offensive way... we knew the other was j.k and noone took stuff seroius...


you can't do that now with 99% of these people... they take it as if its real and ment to be mean when actually its ment as a joke...

Agreed, I dont think the bashing is any worse, its just that newer people take everything said seriously, so no one can have any fun anymore. People need to aproach this forum with a more layed back attitude like in the old days.

i dont think the members here will ever be as laid back as they use to,,,, i can search back through old threads and i dont recall finding too much crap going on... everyone knew where to find everything and not too many people complained. Plus we had rico always entertaining us with his big red button and his partys that he threw... back when he could post a pic of him with hooters girls without it getting deleted. I guess when you have 40,000 members of a varied age range your going to have some complaining and flaming, i still say were a little too strict on the picture posting catagory,,, pics of the ladies that is.. if you cant see the few things that could be graphic then i say its good. but what the hell am i saying this for this was about people complaining,,, sidetrack,,,:ermm: oops... back on topic
