2. There geometry has been copied by nearly every high performance quad produced since then.
3. They are simplicity in design which the simplest way is usually the best way to do things
4. They look a lot better modded than every other quad out there
5. When you first lay eyes on them you can tell they are different. There is just something magical about that moment.

7. Cheap to buy now
8. They still handle better than any other quad save aftermarket frames

10. Everyone always asks this question when a new bike comes out. "If it raced the 250r which would win"

i beg to differ on number 1, a banshee motor can be modded to be the fastest quad out there, as far as drag races go. but when you go onto an mx track a 250r will whoop some butt if u got a good rider.

#1 it has to be modded b/c a stock 250r (which is rare), will probably lose to a stock 450, depending on the riders.

#2 A LOT of goemetry is used to build a quad. lets see, triangles are physically the strongest shape, most of the cross members in the frame are in the shape of triangles, wow thats goemetry

#3 simple is the bst way to do things, except when it comes to brains, which in your case it wasn't the best way

#6 every quad needs it, but the modded 250R will kick any 450's *** with riders of equal talent.

#7 No one is screwing anything. in a 2 stroke when you mod out the engine, there are a lot less componentes to worry about than a 450. lets say you replace the cam in a 4 stroke, you should run hardened rockers with that cam, lots of people have better valve springs. things you'll never find in a 2 stroke.

i like 250r but they are not the best qaud ever mad i think the new 4 strokes are a lot better then the old 2 strokes they dont brake down as much and they are just as fast if not faster

For some reason people here are very short tempered...I didn't swear or call anyone any names but you managed to squeeze some in....spend some money and maybe one day you can have a long signature like me. Maybe I should enter a space between mods to make it longer..im sure there is more space.

ok first off, no you didnt cuss or anything but you were still a smart*****. second, i race MX, looks aren't anything. you dont need an aluminum oil filler cap or carbon fiber headlight covers. look at a pro's bike, they're not much to look at. all the important mods are on the inside of the motor and the suspension. so even if i become rich, i wont have a long sig. just b/c you have a really long sig doesn't make you that important.

well I read through to see how people responded to my post and heres what I came up with. Some guy with too much money in a raptor flamed my post. Well here's my comeback my quad wont be pretty because I ride in the mud. Second I will still have half as much money in mine as you do in yours. Third whenever we meet in a race be it a drag or a motocross or a x country or a flatrack I will whoop your @$$ Because my quad is the best all around quad ever made. Nuff said for all the old school dudes out there. Lastly as far as qeometry goes I wasnt talking about putting triangles and squares together, to make any given bike. The reason the geometry was different was because the wheels during wheel travel did not change in the camber angles. So that is what was different kinda like polaris when they changed the way the polaris predator turns in the front. They were both new things one that has been copied and one that may be in the future.:D
