what would be the best gearing for my 300ex with 19in MXR-4's? i run stock gearing right now

also what is the stock gearing on a 300ex?

run 14/36 and stock is 13/38

also does that take away accelaration, because its already slowwww haha

rollie i run stock but i have seen many people on here with 14/36...it ought to do better than stock all arond

wheres the best place to buy sprockets? i buy everything from K&K but they dont have front sprockets for a 300ex....anyone else know a good place??

buy them form nac's...I always ran 13/36 on my 300ex. Along with everyone in youth production at nationals..

anytime rollie...rockymountain has a select few...i would say a sidewinder rear and possibly renthal front....renthal u can get from rocky and no clue where the sidwinders are

is steel or aluminum better? i know aluminum is alot lighter but is it as durable?

steel by far cuz the alum.may bend and or break too easyly with sprockets you want durability over weight

if you ride hard, aluminum will only last for a couple races then the will dull very bad.

steel for sure, i have an aluminum on my rear.... it's chewed the **** up.
