may sound stupid but could you just put something like pantyhose to cover it?

i have heard of people using panty hose for a short term fix, but outerwears are the only way to go.

yeah i tried that on my bike, if you can get it to work then great, outerwears is the same meterial as panty hose. but when i tried it i could never get it to stay:( so i just put it over my k&n like the other outerwears

I used a pair of panty hose once. It didnt work at all. I just got really sticky from the filter oil and made a big mess. It tears way too easy.
