how can i tell what year my frame i have... i searched fo rthis and i cant find a definate answer. I have an 88-89 geometry with 86 motor. I just want to know if this guy changed it or what so how do i tell. Thanks in advance.

The vin number on the 88/89 will be on the front of the frame between the shock mounts, the 86/87 is on the lower left of the sub frame. The 88/89 have a rear cross member/motor mount that goes across the back of the frame, the 86/87 doesn't have that. The 88/89 foot peg mounts use one bolt, the 86/87 use 2.
