can you chrome aluminum???

I believe you can do either. I have my side cases polished but i have seen people who have chromed them too. I dunno never gave it any thought ask "Popo" he chromes.

The back panel on my dad's muscle car is aluminum that has been chromed . :devil: So I guess the answer is yes .

yes u can chrome aluminum, also steel, plastic, cast, just about anything

Yes you can chrome plate aluminum. We used to send out aluminum wheels to get chromed, but we started to see too many cases of corrosion caused by dissimilar metals(or so the chromer said) so we quit doing it.

I was told that aluminum has to be fully polished before chrome plating. Also it can be hard to find a shop that can do it. Just trying to help.
