Have any of you done a racecut on your stock 400ex fenders where you eliminated the front brackets?

My plastic is cracked by the bracket mount, and I am wanting to just do away with the bracket all together. Will this affect my side panels if I eliminate the brackets?

Any pics with the brackets eliminated would be appreciated. And yes I did a search, but I can't really see in the pics if the brackets are there or not, so don't flame!

do you mean where that little rod type thing attaches from the frame to the fender...

or the L bracket?

The rod type thing that attaches the same place where the bottom bolt on air scoops attach.

Haha! I had the same problem with mine. This 1 moron backed up into me and it cracked my fender (because honda fenders are too stiff...so they crack instead of bend)

I repaired it but it bothered the hell outta me.

So I cut them like the pic below and cuz the hole on the black panels off right around the edge. You'll see what I mean.

I don't really care how it looks....I just don't want any cracks.
