View Full Version : rezzies or triple-rates?

I was hoping someone with suspension knowledge could help me out. I have a set of fox shocks that I can have rezzies(compression adjustable) put on or a triple rate spring setup. My question is, which one would I notice a greater gain in performance out of? I'm trying to get plushness out of them. Right now I'm getting beat up in the rocks and rough stuff.

The right springs should help it feel a little softer. The rezzies will only help with shock fade from overheating. Rezzies are really only good for people who ride really hard for long periods.

Have them resprung and revalved for your weight and riding style.

Thats what I was thinking too Jeff. The rear feels good on this quad, but the front just rides too stiff for me. I'm a light-weight for this quad.(I only weigh 155lbs before gear) I've had both ends revalved, but I just think that I'm not heavy enough to make the front work like it should. Seems like if I ride hard as I can they work "ok", but are definately not plush.

If you only got them revalved then you also need to get them resprung for your weight.

Just remember tho that with a spring change, you should also have the valving changed to match the spring rate.
