Hi i have a 2005 trx 450r and was wondering about the good and bad of rev boxes. Some of my friends were telling me the make your piston were out faster.I was wondering if there worth the money from some people who have them.

with some mods already on your bike you will notice an improve ment, but you will loose a little reliability, what mods do you already have

well most rev boxes are for race machines with gearing changes and pipes ect...but most racers have a totally different carb setup than stock wich has a throttle positioning sensor and that sensor will only let the engine rev so high so im saying that you will not get 1000 or 1200 mor rpm out of that box because of the TPS it will only allow around 300-400 more rpm

the big gun rev box needs a fully charged battery to even start the quad....id get almost any other one besides big gun...ive heard good things about magnum & i think its gt thunder

Biggun CDI boxes are junk. Im really thinking they are a scam. I bought one direct from them, i gained absolutely zero RPMs. I contacted Big Gun, the said it works. I took the bike and had it put on a dyno, sure enough it actually cuts off a tad bit sooner than stock.
