works connection clutch and perch

I bought the works connection clutch and perch with the hotstart lever and i knew i needed the crf hotstart cable but when i got it all together the clutch part works great but the hotstart cable is to long or somthing, is there a trick or doing something wrong.

i thought the CRF wouldnt work, you have to buy the one that Baldwin makes

There it too much slack cable with the stock Hotstart, to work with any of the aftermarket hot starts intended for the dirt bikes.

So you 1. either have to space out the stock cable so it comes into adjustment to open and close properly.

2. buy a CRF cable, which I dont see why it woudlnt work perfect, because it did for mine.

I do have the FCR carburetor though which may be the difference. :rolleyes:
