Twist or Thumb

Alright, im just wonderin what you guys use and prefer.

I had a twist on my kx60 and I loved it.

Now i have a thumb on my 300ex

I'm getting a 250r real soon and it has a twist.

Well I had a thumb on my beartracker, had a thumb on my warrior, but bought a twist throttle. and now I have a thumb on my 426ex. I like both...where's the option for me? haha...

Thumb.. I dont know how anyones thumb can get tired or sore? Mine is fine all day.. Maybe im just used to it..

Twist, after riding bikes and switching to ATV i could never get used to the thumb thing, its the first thing i changed :)

I leave that to the jetski's :)

I dunno if you noticed but nature gave us the thumb to help us grab on to things better... which applies double for me and my setup :)

yeah, on new quads the thumb won't hurt

on the r the carb is tight, thats why they put a twist on it

I think gas gas is the only quad that comes with twist? Correct me if im wrong.

i have had both on my 300ex, prefered the twist, my thumb gets sore from hnolding it to the stops all the time becausemy 4-wheller is to slow

I just tried out a twist today, and BOY I ABOUT KILLED MYSELF!!! i went off a jump and man.... had it cracked like a tad bit ans she screamed wide open. i just cant get used to it. i hit every bump and it just throws the wrist everywhere and i just cant manage it... but thats me

nah i dont think. i know for a fact the the Cobra 90 does.



I love my twist. best thing you can do is just take it easy for the first couple of hours and so youll get the feel of it. DONT USE THE DEATH GRIP.lol

ive had both and i definately prefer the thumb

I've ridden with a thumb throttle my entire life, I could never switch over to twist. My thumb has never gotten tired after a long day of riding, and I use to ride a Banshee (known for stiff throttle) and now I have a YFZ450 (also known for a "stiff throttle").

When your goin artound burms with a twist it's alot harder, when i was riding my friend 300ex, with a twist, when i was goin around burns, it would wheely, cuz i would twist it on accident
