Ive got a 11:1 piston in mine. With that and a cam, there is night and day difference. No, I cant pop the front end up in fifth, but with the lites taken off, It will pull up in third.

To install a new piston, youll have to get your bore honed at least. If you get an overbore piston, then the bore will have to be bored and honed.

You might want to consider a good aftermarket clutch. You dont have to get a cam, but if you want to make the most out of the new piston, youll need a cam.

With that high of compression, youll need to run race gas. The stuff I run cost me five fifty a gallon. Your wallet will be lighter, so youll go faster.

Anyone else wanna add to this? Im tired of typing. lol

The think my piston ran close to 150. Its not hard to put on if you have some help. Get a shop manual for your beast and read over it before you begin.

The piston should last you five times longer than the stock piston. The rings might last a few years before they need replacing.
