Fcr 39?

Wanting to upgrade my carb on the 400 to a FCR 39. Is this carb made for the 400ex, just wanting to know so that when i order it i get the right carb. Also with the mods in my sig what size jet should i get ?

Yes it will work I'm running a 39mm FCR on my wifes 400ex... You will need to change your throttle cable though, I bought the cable from SPARKS. The only problem I had with it is a dead spot just off of idle (it bogged) I bought a acceleretor pump cover from Boyesen...Its called Quickshot Accelerator Pump Cover and they 100% gurantee that it will fix the hesitation, and bogging problem. As for the jetting that is something I had to just play with and I don't remember exactlly what I'm running. I'd suggest also changing your cam if you haven't already (stage 2 Hotcam) ... Good Luck :D
