I'd love to just buy a jet kit, except the largest jets I can find for a Raptor is a 200. This isn't big enough. I need around a 230-250.

I am trying to run an open K&N filter on a Raptor.

I take it you haven't done this.........What happens to a raptor when you take the airbox lid off? It won't run its so lean. It may not run much better, but we're going to try. When I put an open airfilter on my YFZ 450, it made a huge difference. This is also how we ran our banshees in the dunes.

then run a 180 or that 200. or you going to burn up pistons with anything bigger i would think.

at a 195/200 combo it is still way too lean..How can you burn a piston up if the bike is jetted correctly? I can understand if I am running it lean.....If we are running it too rich, then it will run hot also, correct?

??? they sell two diff kinds of bits. theres fractional and then numbered. ive drilled out my jets a few times. get the numberd, find which one will fit in your jet you have right now then get the next size bit and it will be the equivelant of the next size jet and so on.:)

no, it wont run hot. your piston will not get hurt either, you just wont be able to get as much power out of it because it will be bogging down.
