View Full Version : Which one: LRD or Dubach exhaust?

Sorry to post another exhaust question, but I am still trying to narrow down what slip-on I want to go with for my 400EX. I was originally going to go with an HMF, but then I heard that they were quite loud. I do not want a real loud pipe but I also want something that sounds good: looking for a deep, throaty sound. So what do you all think-

LRD Pro-4 series slip-on or Dr. D?

I heard that both give good performance gains, especially the LRD, but then someone said its pretty loud too?

Any others that you would suggest considering what I am looking for, and still get really good performance gains?

BTW, I have done a search on this question- still want more opinions.

I kind of figured that quiet and performance don't go together, and to clarify, I am not looking for major dB restrictions, I am just not looking for a real loud pipe, like most people say the HMF is.

Does the quiet core fitting restrict performance?

Any word on how the LRD compares?
