Nice quad. I love the orange and black scheme. I hope to do it that or something else with orange on my quad in the future.

Are the 450 shocks revalved. If not, I really suggest that you do. Its not that great using them even when they are revalved. Save up and get some EX shocks man

Yeah they have been revalved and have triple rate springs. I am planning on getting better shocks in the near future.

OK, I just wanted to make sure. Some people dont realize the problem with running 450 shocks and not making any changes to them. Where in Ohio are you?

what exactly does it do if they are not revalved?

It wears out the front end a little faster, and It is not as safe as running shocks valved for your quad. Stick with stuff made for what you have.

You dont need to buy 1000 dollar shocks. Look for people parting out their mx 400ex's. They do it all the time. So you can buy nice used shocks and have them rebuilt while still costing less than aixs or elka. Or another thing you can do is buy some triple rate elka without the rezzies, and just add them later when you have more money.

Will 250R shocks work on a 400ex? Front and Rear?

BTW nice looking quad. I was thinking of this color sceme on my next project and was woundering how it would look.
How about a KTM 525SX/400EX?
