I thought i would post this in the open fourm to get a quicker reply because im going riding in the morning and was wanting to know the best way to run it. Anyways, on my 250ex i have a fmf megamax. And, i was wondering what is the best way to run it ? ive had 19 disc on it, ran it all the way open, and stuck the quite core in it. (which didnt make it very quite). Im just trying to figure out the best way to run it. any ideas on it ?

well the less discs the quieter it is, les discs more bottom end, more discs more top end ect, if sound is not an issue then its just whether you prefer more bottom or top end

no, sound is no issue where i live :p :cool:

so what about all the way open ?

well its designed to work with discs, so idk about performace w/o them. i think 19-20 discs is about the same sound level as open end, so i would just use the discs to be safe

running no disks makes an exhaust system like that run like crap.....just bit in like....6-10 and adjust as needed

I have the ESeries silencer and im running 11 discs (12 just wont fit) and its LOUD....but i like it that way.
