z400 slow to start

my z is real slow to start i dont know why any help would be appreciated!!

what do you mean by slow to start, isit really hard to start it aoris it like when you let go of the clutch it takes awhile to engage

My friends Z sometimes takes a while to warm up.. Its very cold hearted shall I say? lol

when i had my Z it would do the same thing,,
it would crank and crank befor it would start,,
that was bad, because the type of racing i was doing was a cold start, the bike had to be turned off.:confused:

it just dont like to start when it is hot

Mine was the same way, but after I installed my Alba CDI it got much worese. If I'm riding on a hot day, it's a bear to get it re-started after taking a break.

thanks for the info znt i will try to change my cdi ......................hey young try to stay on the track i saw you take about 4 miles off the race thats how you got 1st...........lol:D
