OK guys im having trouble deciding whos motor work to get for my 400ex,so heres my choices........when you vote please tell me why you picked who you did.

for mx def tc...a lot of ppl run his motors with curtis sparks exhaust

i say buy a service manual and do the installation work yourself. it isn't that difficult and you will learn a lot throughout the adventure.........

I agree with Cals400ex, I did a piston and cam rebuild myself. I had a machine shop do the port and polish along with a valve job. Just make sure you have a service manual right beside you. It is probably a fraction of the cost!
You can always ask any questions you have to the helpful guys on here.

Sparks or TC you would be waiting a while. Just have Baldwin or GT Thunder port/polish your head with the valve job, heavy duty head studs and what not, then do the rest yourself, or have somebody local do it...
