I am splitting my cases and when i went to pull the flywheel my manual said it had to be in 5th gear. The right side cover was off of the motor and that lets the gear shift mech. slide side to side. When it does this it either lets me move my gear shifter way up and down like its on a spring or it wont let it move down at all and lets it go up to a point. Well i cant get it back to the point that i can shift so any help on how to do this would be greatly appreaciated. Also once i get the fly wheel off are there any special tools i will need to split the cases? Thanks in advance for the help. :D
