250r and 250x steering stem

i wanted to know if the steering stems are interchangable for the 250x and the 250r.

I believe that the tie rod end mouting holes are in different locations and will throw off your steering angles.

thanks, i appreciate it, im putting together a 250r and need a stem, stock preferebly, i have a 250x chassis i wanted to us it until i got one.
