Oil changes

I am a novice mechanic at best how often does everyone change their oil. I am riding a bone stock 00' 400 ex. Thanks for your info.

it depends where you ride and how hard. i ride at 1/2to 3/4 some time full... so i change every 3 to 4 rides, also i ride at 2 to 3 hours at a, time in moderate fine dust, no mud. btw YOU NEED MODS to help you power band and fun level i.e slip on air filter 14tooth sprocket ($200.00, $25.00, $12.00 rocky mountain ATV)

thanks for the help. My situation is very similar but we have a fair amount of mud around ohio.
