Raptor 700!?

I just saw someone post something abuot a Raptor 700, and i was shocked so i checked out yamaha's site and it was there. Obviously i have been so into riding in the last couple months, but this thing looks like its gonna but nuts! 700cc fuel injection!? I dunno but Honda really has to step it up..they're not taking the leadership role, but just putting things together to match the competition. Seems like yamaha is throwing out a new bike left and right!

yes they did make a 700 and yes it is bad to the bone:D i like this model way more that the other ones, it has a wider axle i think. my friend just brought one home yesterday and its awesome! it comes with a comfy gripper seat on it that i love. i think the fuel injection will make all the difference on this bike. i wona ride it:devil:

Sorry I had to but yeah it looks pretty bad and they made considerable improvements and updates to the yfz. Yamaha really has stepped it up in the ATV aspect of their comapny.

yea yamaha has stepped it up and now i like yamaha..... i always hated them cus i thought they were crap and werent reliable like honda...... but now that we got a bruin i ride it alot now, yamaha's are reliable..... and honda's sport 4 wheelers will be a joke compared to 06 yamaha's if honda doesnt step up there sport line up in 06..... maybe they'll do motor improvements this year.... like dohc motors on 300/400ex and the 450r..... that would make all of the bikes a whole lot better i think

i didn't care much for yamaha's, but they don't seam to bad now... with the 450 ,, they made a strong stand, that "raptor 700r " looks ok ,, i wonder what people will have to say about fuel injection on it after the've ridin them for a year or so.. looks preety good for yamaha's future...whats next honda ?!?! haha ..... when did yamaha steal the famouse "R" badge from honda thoe ?!?!

I dont think the fuel injection will cause any problems. It does pretty well on the kawasaki kfx700.

yamaha has been making fuel injected street bikes for a long time and i think with the knowledge from that, the raptors will do great.

Since you've been busy lately. You probably haven't heard the rumors of the suzuki Z450 with fuel injection and all raced out.:cool:

I'm still not sure if I trust suzuki frames, but it sounds like it's gonna be pretty sweet!:devil:

The kfx700 doesnt have EFI.

The old Raptor was called the 660R. So it's been awhile;) .

I just hope someday I'll have a chance to ride the 700. I rode a 660 that was piped and cammed, man talk about torque!!

Sadly I just bought an '05 SE YFZ450 before the '06 was released, so I didn't get any of the discounts of it being an older year. Oh well, I was too anxious to get riding again.

how about this rumor magazines and people are saying there gonna make the rc211v street legal. thats way better than a 700 raptor.


if you don tknwo what a 211v is look it up
its a factory race bike for moto gp and its one of the fastest on the track.

Hopefully Honda is just taking their time with the 650r to make it the baddest machine ever

Wonder if well see that 700 at any tracks? 660s were never a real popular track quad maybe the 700 will be
