think i should go for it? ive been looking for a 250r for a while, it looks like it needs some work ( someone cut the rear fenders :huh , dirty, stuff like that)

yeah.. its about 1 and a half hours away from me so i would go pick it up, think its worth the money?

and he said he hasnt ridden it since he purchased it. then he says bolts fall out every time he rides/races/ or practices with it.

thats what I was thinking, but localy there are some for $2500. And this one needs some stuff like brake pads, and new plastics, a-arm bushings too and it sounds like it hasnt been started in a while. I might look into it alittle more though

any R for that price u will need to do that kind of stuff too. That is unless you find one in a womans basment and she doesnt know what she has.;)

I would buy it if my dad wasnt such a huge jagoff he wont let me get a new quad, and I AM PAYING FOR ONE MYSELF, but NOOOOO he has to be a prick about it. I want a 250r sooooooooooooo bad, go for it man.

For less then a Grand extra into it you will have a nice "R". But if there $2500 in your area and in good shape i'd go that way.Why i say that is you can test ride it. You figure 2K for it $500(High side) for shipping + Plastic's $500(High side) Brakes ($30) Bushings($50)
