What does everyone think the longest lasting tires are? I have holeshot's on now but they are just for racing and i don't think that they will last too long so i need some different tires to just play around on.

Pure Sport Bandits will probably last longer than any tire out there. We used to use them for desert a few years ago. They are very puncture resistent and if you do get a flat, they ride really good while flat. The only bad thing is they a little on the heavy side. Im not sure if they're still in the market though. I havent seen them in a while.

You are right about the Pure Sports. They will last forever. I have them as my backup tires for GNCC. I call them my square tires!!!!!

i agree, bandits are heavy, and dont self clean very well, but are great for a long lasting general tire.

Bandits xc's, ran some for like 5 years, had a lot of road miles on them and still had over half tread. Never had a puncture either, of course they are heavy, but they have excellent reinforcement in the sidewalls and across the tread. I just had the fronts, never run the back.

i have had my holeshot hd's since last august and they are holding up very well. i rarely ride on the road. just trails and sometimes a track or 2.

i have no clue, all i run is maxxis.

i had bandits for years, they just seemed indestructable for everyday riding.

I'm not sure. You should call local dealers or motorcycle parts stores. Or do a search.

You can still get them , but they do not hook up well for racing, but maybe for everyday riding through rough terrain....

Kenda Klaws are the same price and hook up 100 times better. I would go with them....

Kendas might hook up better but they dont last as long and are not as puncture resistent as bandits. I was using them for desert and they worked really well.

i had a set of klaws on the back of my bike since spring of last year they never gave me any trouble. they still had a decent amount of tread left when i took them off for new ones. one of the tires had a total 7 nails in and i would have never known untill i took it off. the kendas hold up great in my opinion. i would suggest a set of klaws

ya otta restart the thread as a pole so it would be easier to follow for the longest lasting tire;)

Very convenient thread at the moment for me lol...

At my local shop they have some used tires n he sells them so cheap! There is a pair of stock yfz tires like new n some mx holeshots that have perfect tread also $30 for either pair

I think the yfz stockers would hook up like crazy but wear fast what do u guys think i should get

if you do alot of recreational riding get the YFZ tires. They don't wear as fast as you think. If you ride strictly MX, get the holeshots.

Too late i got the holeshots

On the ride home i stopped n climbed this huge hill i made that i hadnt climbed yet n the front end picked up on me cuz i wasnt used to all the hook up i climbed about 15 feet with the front end off the ground i went over the top in a wheelie it scared the balls out of me!

yeah. those bandits may not perform as good as others but they sure last a lot longer than others.

Gotta go w/ Maxxis. I just have regular Razr's. Had em on the old 400 and now on this one.
They slide a bit better on hard pack/gravel than do Holeshots, maybe that is why they will last longer. Since I dont race, I actually prefer a tire that doesnt hook up as well. I like to slide and stuff and do donuts so for me Maxxis is the way to go.

Im hoping to get ONE season out of my MXR-4's....i run kendas up front but ive had them for 2 days now so i cant realy tell you, i think im going to go kenda in the back next too,MXR-4's are AWSOME tires for racing but they wear quickly, and get chewed up by cement starting gates as well
