Has anyone else had any problems the pro armor kill switch? I bought a new one and when you pull the cord the lever doesn't snap back in far enough to kill it. You have to push it in the rest of the way. Every once in awhile it'll work on it's own.

I've got one, the only problem I have is every now and then it will shock the crap out of you if you touch the metal. It works fine though other than that.

My pro design does that. It will light you up.

Yup I got shocked too! Onw thing that I noticed is that the wire that goes into the back of the cylinder if I push it back into the cylinder it doesnt do it anymore...

Mines PRO DESIGN. I have 3 of them. Naturally on 3 different rides. But one does it. I put electrical tape over the metal end for now. I was thinking that the ground wasn't working even though I do have it hooked up. Whats the fix?

I just taped the crap outta mine. The first time it hit me was during a race right after I went through a creek, I was soaked and it almost knocked me off of me quad. I just about stopped to catch my breath. I guess I will just keep taping it, I don't feel like buying another one til I get a good one.

Yes I had both things happen to me. There is a set screw there that they forgot to put in. Call Ronnies (Site Sponsor) they are putting the set screw in themselves to resolve the sliding problem.

:eek2: Set screw...where at? Is it something that we can do if we have the switch already?

My kill switch had a problems with sliding and when it did slide it would push the metal round piece with the wire coming out of it out of place. They forgot to put in set screw to stop this from happening. Another thing I found that helped the sliding is to loosen the clamp alittle. That helped with it sliding better. I just tossed the first one I got an bought another one from www.ronnies.com It's only a few dollars and it can save you from not passing Tech early in the morning.

Backwards? The circuit is either open or closed, it shouldnt matter witch way the wires go...

mine never worked from the first time i put it on so i switched back to a pro design. the pro armor also broke into about 20 pieces when i went to take it off my bike so i never bothered trying to get a refund.
