hrc kit for 450r

i just bought a 05 450r along with a full yosh system and a jet kit with a k&n filter .but was wondering if the hrc kit is what i should get ,since i trail ride only

a less aggressive cam will be better for you. for just tight sections, a crf or stage 1 hotcam might do well. the stage 2 hotcam will rev a little higher and actually make the bike faster probably but won't have quite the low end power.

I have the hrc kit and I think it works well. If anything depending on your exhaust you might lose a little bottom end but it will pull like crazy from midrange up. I installed a powernow kit in my 450r and that gave me some good lowend throttle response too so I think you should be happy with it. You can also change your gearing to compensate to but i run stock gearing and I have no problems.
