Wondering if a WER damper for a 400ex will bolt up to a 450r. I know the bumpers are the same so I figured the mounting plate would be O.K. The stem is thicker on the 450 but, it looks like the clamp that mounts to the stem would still work even though the stem is thicker. If not, does WER sell parts or will I have to go through a distributor? Thanks for any help.

Wer will sell you everything you need. Before they changed there site, they had a section with all the diffrent mounts and replacement parts.

Doug,

The WER dampers are all the same you will only need to buy the mounting kit for a 450R. I took mine off my old 250R and Nick and Dan both took theirs off the 400EX's. I believe the mounting kit for the 450R was like $80 direct from WER. Also they are in NJ so the shipping time is only two days.
