New gas, oil change, new spark plug
there is prob. varnish in the carb if he let the gas sit in there, your gunna have to clean the whole carb

ya ive figured on the carb, and its been sittin for 3 years lol, its gonna be on like a loan for 2 week so i can get it runnin and make sure its a deal. i was just wonderin about valve clearances and possibly a re-build just to be safe, but then again it is a honda more than likely itll be running after i just push the button haha
my dad has a honda atc 200 3 wheeler. it was in storage for over 5 years. just recently I took it out. put some new gas in it. started hard that day. but after running it for a while that day. now it starts 1st pull every time.

Before you start it put a little "Mystery Oil" in through the spark plug hole (dont need much) and turn the engine over by hand several times.
The cylinder is gonna be VERY dry. no reason to cause extra wear on restart.
Yes it will make it smoke until it burns off. ;)
I would just check the oil to make shure it has some in there. you cant really change it till after it has been running.

Have the guy start it up before you buy it. Its is the smartest choice to do.
