ok i thought i used the right grease for for stem but i guess not....i used some motomaster wheel bearing/ chassis grease and when i greased it, the stem functioned fine without squeaking..a week later, with zero riding time on it, it squeaks again????? wtf?????:rolleyes: what grease should i have used.

I have the same problem with my new Burgard stem. Makes a stupids *** noise, I just deal with it and race on!!!!!!

also after every wash... get a little wd40 in the bushing and give it a few shots and move the stem from side to side. it should stop squeaking

I use waterproof grease.

I had the same problem so i put never seize (sp) all over it and its been good for a couple of months.
