removing balljoints

Whats the fastest way to remove ball joints without a ball joint remover tool? and the quad is a 300EX if that matters.

ALso make sure you lift up when hitting on those two points to get it out of the bind and they will pop right out....

thanks for the replies, i got those off. Now im putting on my burgard a-arms, and the bottom ball joint screw, wont stop spinning when im tryin to put it on. And ive got the nut on it, and now it wont come off or go on any tighter. Its really starting to piss me off and i need it all on by friday. Please help. I hope pappy sees this. p.s., on the stock ones, the lower balljoints spun the whole time also, its weird, it wont let me tighten it at all.

tap the ball joint into the spindle harder with a rubber or plastic mallet, so that when you turn the nut the rest of the ball joint shaft doesnt turn because the tapered part will be where it needs to be in the hole.
