New Look for my R

Went back with my favorite color, but I hate the hood. Infact, I didnt even finish installing it and ordered a Quadtech scooped hood.

Now waiting on the graphics kit:D

ofcourse i am wanting an aftermarket chassis so i can run 250R fenders. i dont like any of the new quads looks except the yfz:p

I agree about plastics only thing I do not like about the R is the light and hood. Dont get me wrong I love my bike and its looks, but I think they could have done better:macho

yeah the rings were what was on them when i got them off jeff.

this R didnt start as a Xc quad but has turned into a pretty wicked trail unit:D

the yfz will get the full on mx treatment.:eek:

when all this came down with lsr's arms, we thought we only had a week or so to get shocks. axis had all the numbers and rushed the shocks thru for me. i did not know that elka had shocks ready for thsi arm or i would have stayed elka as i prefer a piggy back rezzy.

the new lsr swing arm and linkage is on its way and an axis will be stuck in there to keep things equal.


and yes, the new site graphics should look pretty good. i hope they have blue coming for me:p

i am trying to see if lsr wants to take on a project frame to accomodate the new parts along with some special stuff to allow me to get a bit old school with the looks.:devil:

haha Production class only means the engine cases and the frame match, not completely stock. It Prevents them from running hybirds. The GNCC and GNC Pro classes are production. He has that on they so he dosent piss off neighbors or people that live near the trails he rides.

The R looks pretty sick . I agree with you , the white hood just doesn't cut it . You should get blue Hiper rings for the beadlocks and blue graphics . All in all , the quad is a beauty .

its not that bad, maybe in a different color i would have formed a different opinion of it but think i will like the QT much better

I'm gunna have to try and find a good PC'er for a decent price up here . I know one guy that does PC but he doesn't have an oven large enough for the frame . I'll have to ask my old man if he knows any ... I'm sure theres a few guys in the muscle car community that have done PC jobs to some of their car parts .

What color orange is that ? I'm trying to figure out what the best color combo would be . This bike is going to be built up as an XC machine ... you guys have finally convinced me . Just too bad we ain't got no XC races up here . :grr: :mad:

Looks good man but a carbon fiber hood would look better! Also i hate white plastic because it stains way to easy and when you get dirt in the sratches it looks like crap!

white is actually the easiest color to keep looking new. colored fenders will "white out" after hard scrubbing and use.

I know a way ... but it's a little risky . You'll need a few fields and a "green thumb" if you know what I mean . You'll have your 1.2 million in one crop . ;) That's how most people get rich around here anyways .

long story short, axis had the measurements and the shocks and at the time i thought i was going to be in a time crunch. the axis work excellent, but elkas could be on there just as easy.
