330 long or short rod?

I am thinking about getting a 330 kit And I wondered if the 330s required long rods. I would preffer to use a short rod to keep revability. any advice appreciated thanx.

If you want to keep the short rod then do so. Using the short rod would eliminate the need for a spacer plate

The bolt on 330 from ESR requires a long rod ! If you are going with the standard 330 the cases will have to be machined and you can use the short rod ..

That is correct ESR's 330 bolt on you need a long rod. The long rod gives a wider power band verse the short rod. I have a long rod in my bike.
