i personally like the second one (esr) out of your selections.

Ya know, the tubes being straight isn't going to help much for low end thump mainly top. I mean tapered intakes like stock and velocity stacks are the way to go for open air box setups. If your going to remove the stock try for velocity stacks. FastByGast.com sells velocity stacks.

Good luck. Let us know your selection and performance gains.

i would go with the esr intake..if your wanting to change...but if you want a good filter go with the UNI..its only 25 bucks and one of the best filters..

Get the Pro Design intake ring with the foam filter. Don't get anything that eliminates the airbox for motocross unless you want anything and everything getting inside of your engine.

pro design made the least amount of hp and torque between the uni and the k&n..and they are the most exspensive of the 3

Wow that almost hard to believe because when I installed mine I had to jet it up 2 sizes and it made a large difference in performance! So if its the "worst" of all of them Id like to see what the "best " of them would do...

All of those aftermarket tubes are worthless, there is not a better design out there then that of the OEM. Get a Pro Design filter adapter and install a K&N w/inverted center and junk the lid. Remember velocity is key, and with out some sort of taper on the tube you will lose it.

I am running the curtis sparks air filter kit which works quite well.

I am with Boone and Chad, that is what I did, and I would do it all over again if I had to! Very good set up IMO
But yes mike it was a stock filter set up.
