Stock 300 shocks w/ 400EX arms for temporary solution

Well I am getting 400 arms n all and I was wondering if I can use my stock 300EX shocks for a little while until i get my shock relocator, Im j/w, cuz even if they did it would be really soft right???

well you could but your front end would sag alot and be really soft

Really, well im hoping to do a little bit of flat track racing, i think ill be using 400 shocks when i get the relocator tho,

i had the stock shocks with wider aarms on my old 300 for a while....and it was pretty gay!!! it bottomed out doing a wheelie :eek2: i'd say just wait till you get the shocks to mount the aarms

You must not jump, because i cracked the bottom of my shock with stock arms. Plus it wasnt like a was jumping massive either, atleast compared to some of the people on here.

I guess im not the only one? I was only jumping about 15 feet, over shot the hill I used as a landing, landed fronts first and snap. No more stock shocks for me.

ya, myn snapped right above the lower mount bushing, just enough so all of the fluid leeked out.

Me TOO, I was pretty pissed when it happened. Considering I really didnt feel like spending money at the time.

Well if i put the 400 arms on and then i set the stock shocks to their stiffest with those notch things on the bottom of the shock would it still be to soft?
