250ex fore sale in baltimore

For sale 2004 honda 250ex very clean!!!! Hmf full system with quiet core and is properly jetted, uni air filter, 20" razor's with only 2 ride's on them, full skid's,ac grab bar. Total hour's on the quad are around 25, I am the original owner and purchesed the quad on 10/29/04, it has had the oil changed and air filter serviced every 10 hour's, it is adult owned and garage kept. The reason i'm selling is i'm 6'4 and weigh 265 lb's, nuff said. The bike pull's my weight fine but the crowd i've been riding with all have 400ex, z400, kfx700, 450r and yfz450, so you see i don't actually ride with them it's more like behind them. So due to my size i've decided to get a kfx700, I have approx $4800 in this bike, I will take $3000. If interested post back i'm in baltimore maryland, thank's in advance for any replies.:D :D :D

Pep, I don't know what would be involved in shipping a quad to california, i've never tried to do something like that. Sorry but i was kinda hoping to sell local, but thank's for your interest. In fact i went to my local dealer today and they said they would give me $2500 trade in on a new 400ex I might just do that. Once again thank's for your reply.:D :D :D :D :D

Just venting, took the 250ex to the dealer today to trade it in on a new 400, the other day the salesman gave me an out the door price on a new 400 and said the clean trade in on my 250ex was $2500 and he could probably do a little better because of the mod's that are on it. Needless to say that was BS!!! after 45min of the dealer's mechanic's looking over my 250, which included putting it up on a lift, throughly checking the the underside and a 15-20 minute test ride around the parking lot that included a few wheelies, the mechanic told the salesman right in front of me that the bike was in perfect condition, I think the actual phrasing was clean as a pin and it needed nothing. I thought that was good new's but I was wrong. After consulting the so called sales manager the salesman told me the best they could do is $2200 for the 250, and that's not all they also added almost $450 to the so called out the door price of the 400, He said he forgot to add the freight and assembly to the price he gave me the other day. So basically they will tell you what you want to here to get you in there, I guess they figure once you have lugged your trade up there you won't walk over a couple hundred buck's here or there, well I will and I did. So the 250ex is back up for sale , 3000 obo. post back if your interested, like i've said I have about $4800 invested and like the dealer said it's clean as a pin. 04 250ex $3000 , Hmf full system with quiet core, properly jetted, AC chassis skid, Ricochet swingarm skid, AC grab bar, brand new 20/11/9 maxxis razor rear tires. :eek2:

Yeah dealers do that i just scream and yell at them they seem to want to deal with you more (get you out of there faster) the owner of a local shop seemed to enjoy my company a lot didnt want me to post negative stuff about his shop and did what the salesman said he would do. Seems like you have to be a @ ss to make stuff happen good thing i am good at it. oh yeah i will take it and drive if you will take some guns in on trade i also have some dirtbikes. Would love to get a 250ex for the kids. The dirtbikes are small but fast and scare the crap out of them.
