Back from the dunes

Well we left saturday morning at 5:30 to head out to Little sahara. It is the worst drive every. Just strait and flat and thousands of farms. By the time we got there it was about 11:00 or so. Then we found out the place that rents paddles out was out for honda :grr: So that screwed my riding ALOT. We set up camp next to some guys that had a Z400, Yfz, Raptor, Banshee, and another yfz. So there were deffentally enough bikes to ride. They let me ride the Z, yfz and raptor. The yfz has amazing power ! it was sooo fun. Then after a while we started to head out with the guys next to us at the camp and we took off and rode the dunes. It actually wasnt that hot to be honest. I never even used my brand new camelbak :ermm: . We basically rode till about 6 or 7 then my dad made hot dogs, hamburgers, and more hamburgers. then about 9 or 10 that night me and the nighbors went back out and rode till about 2 sunday morning. (Note) the dunes are open 24/7. It was one of the best times ive ever had. And now the pictures will now talk for you

Pretty good size dune. Looks a hell of alot steeper when your standing on top of it. :o

Havent been there since last may for my friends birthday man i miss it. Did you like night riding there?? Thats are favorite thing about the dunes riding until the sun comes up

One of the guys that was in the camp next to us with the yfz won the drag races every time. Hes damn good. And all he has is a k&n filter, but hes small for his age. hes prob 20 or so and my height.

nother little pic for ya. And that sums it up for ya guys. It was sooooooo easy to do dounuts in the sand with my tires. Most likely if u see andy dounuts in the sand its from me it did alot of them. :D Tell me what you think.

hmmmm good question i might have got some prob 3 to 5 feet but nothing good enough for pics. the 250 isnt soo gracefull with them. Now my front shocks sound like **** because of sand in them. Gotta clean them 2morrow.

ohh heres one of my dad talking one of me right about when im gonna hit. for some reason the camera doesnt take them real quick takes a sec it for it to get it ready for best quality or some **** like that.

Did you ride the trail too. My first trip there four years ago I got seperated from the group through the trail at 2am or so and I took me over and hour to find the entrance to the camp ground I couldnt find the light tower and when I was just down the road from my truck i ran out of gas got lucky it didnt happen in the dunes

O man there are a few places there that rent paddles just so you know if you go again. Ya that place is the only reason I even keep my 4 wheeler!!

damn man, that light tower does help alot though at night. its VERY easy to get lost at night. And kazpr, How many places are there ?

sweet pics, i think the only places that rent paddles are the two shops in the south camp ground. cant wait to go back, just hope i dont have to go to the hospital again.
