Hey people if you own a 250ex or have raced one and got beat(dont be ashmed it happens to us all) then tell us all what it was that you raced.

my friends 250ex outrun a yamaha Big Bear 400.
thats the only thing I have heard so far the the 250ex has beat I am sure it has beat alot more I just dont know about.

I got the banshee in a flat field drag race. He cheated the first two runs. He didn't come to a complete stop before we took off and he immediately started "fish tailing it". You can't see nothing behind a banshee roost. The third race we both came to a dead stop. That's where I nailed him. I got him by 2 quads lengths in about 150 yard drag. I've beat 400's, 416's, and 440's on the track, but not all. I even pulled a few holeshots on some 440's.

I own a 300trx honda... I want a 250ex...... I have outrun ranchers,foremans,raced a priaire 650 and got my ***** kicked,raced a warrior lets not talk about it... and finally I raced a sportsman 500 and won believe it or not,.....one of the reasons why I won all these times is because I run 27 on the front and 28 on the rear plus my atv is a model of a highlifter quad..... super_man ya`lls turn

i have beat 2 banshees at the same time with my 250ex. we were racing in some trails so they couldent turn very well and it was a little wet out so they were spinning the whole time. one did almost pass me but i just got in front of him and he pratically lost control.:devil

I have a 400ex but just bought my 12 year old son a 2002 250 ex. I have a friend that always wanted to race my 400 with his 250 polaris trailblazer. He had it all a part for a year working on it. He said that he had over 900$ in it with the parts to back it up. Well when he got it back togethter mine was broke and he wanted to go ride with some friends. So i took out the 250 and there we where on a back road going to another trail. I was about four or five other atv's behind him when i pulled out and gave it all she had. He seen me coming and did the same. Need less to say i smoked him big time. When we stopped he was coming up with all kinds of reasons he lost. I just told him that a polaris is nothing compared to a honda.

well ive beat about 20 250ex's with my 300ex and everyone with a 250ex that says they beat a 300ex is eather lying or the person on a 300ex just sucks at riding, ive beaten one 400ex a raptor a 2 banshees but i ride on a place were its continueus whoops for miles and ive been riding them for 6 years and theve never ridden them. ive killed mojaves and every polaris model made but i raced a z400 at tug hill and i was barried! those things screw!!!

to beat a piped raptor, u need a bit more modds than a filter

Umm....it was only like a 150yard race....i beat him by a nose, probly by like 2 feet or so.

nothing can compare to what my friend did, he's got a mostly stock 300ex, and in a real race with atleast 30 people, raptors, banshees, 400s, 300s, blasters, and a mojave, he won

the course was mostly woods 5 miles, and one mile on the track, the first moto was just over an hour and a half long (5 laps) and the second was 4 laps but i dont remember how long it was

i had a bad start on the first moto because my thumb throttle was loose, i was 24th on the holeshot, and came back after passing many quads to finish in 6th, my second moto on the start i got pushed into a hay bale and my 300 went flipping, i've still got my cast on

when we went to the river last weekend there is just sand as far as you can see and this Polaris 500 X or some gay lookin chode came up to my best friend on his Raptor........needness to say my friend wasted him..........and uh.....well covered his *** HARD.......the guy then came over and was like "hey i just wanted to race you didn't have to roost all over me with sand" and my cousin was "sorry when i really get on the gas she kinda fish tails..........i will make sure it wont happen next time"
we both started laughing and he putted away with his AUTO*****AMIC............DO PEOPLE EVER LEARN THAT POLARIS ONLY MAKES GOOD SLEDS.................COME ONE PEOPLE!!!!

Well ive beat every utility that ive come across so far. havent raced any big cc ones yet tho like a 650. beat recons and other 250ex's. I beat a stock '87 250X until I topped out and he crepted passed me. I was tons quicker but he topped out about 5 mph more than I did. kicked a suzuki 230's ***. I want to race a mojave and see how i do but not one like that picture up above. i wanna race a more stock one. oh and ive beat every freakin polaris that ive been around.

when i used to have my 20 inch holeshots i got left by a 300ex one time , i was hitting gears and couldnt figure out what was wrong untill i looked back and slick green clover was shooting up about 2 miles in the air :D . you sure cant beat those 300ex stock tires. i passed him a few yards later doing a wheelie , so it was all good. all i needed was a little scoot back on the seat.

a while back i rolled out on the track ( i planned it to roll our right beside a raptor after he came over the finish line ). well i stuck the gas and so did he ( i could hear his loud fricken exhaust pipe , this was when i had stock exhaust but had all my other mods.) he straight up flew away from me. it was ok though becuase i passed him so fast in the next turn i think some of his paint flew off.:devil . it was really fun. in drags i have beaten a yz125 , piped , new carb , intake blaster ; kx125 , piped banshee ( it was an old piece of crap though so i cant really brag) hmm , warriors , 300ex's , stuff like that , i really only get beaten by dirtbikes mostly because i dont really ride anywhere but MX tracks.

I can stay with one in the woods, n/p but my butt gets handed too me by any sports quad with a bigger displacement when we hit road or open trails. It is kinda pointless to mod a 250 out, its still not gonna be super fast unless you put a bigger motor on it. Its just not gonna happen, well I guess if you was a millionare and wanted to do somin pointless like that it could be done........o nevermind. You get my point, by a bigger quad if you want more power. :cool:

none of us said we could beat a raptor, i get my butt kicked all the time, but there still fun to ride.

My wife can whoop 300EX's on her 250EX, but hay she can ride, and shes only 125 lbs.. But please i've rode that quad i'm only beating utilities, and her quad has all the mod's that have been listed

in 100 yard sand drags ive beaten a few stock raptors and banshees but i cant beat a banshee if it has ANYTHING done to the motor. oh and as for polaris's sucking... well lets just say theres a 400 sport down south that i raced that could run a 5.1 and i run 6.3's but he also had his motor pumping out 70 horses or something like that

I've beat 250ex's on my 86 atc200x, as well as utilities in tight woods, and most supprisingly, 450r's and raptors, but in all fairness the guys I beat on raptors and 450r's couldn't ride them to save their life. last weekend I was passing a 250ex, recon, and some other kind of sport/ute on my 200x about every 3 laps. It all comes down to the rider and how the bike is setup, a top end banchee/blaster will get killed in the woods by just about any sport quad. my atc310r, well its a long list of bikes that I've smoked. Also the motor in my 200x isn't stock either, nor is the suspension, axle, carb, pipe.

I had a 1986 200x those things are awesome wheelie machines.
