oil filter

well my old bike, 250ex, didnt have an oil filter but the Z does. my dad changes the oil filter on his warrior every other oil change and he says hes done it that way for years. how often should it be changed, i dont know if my dad is intirely right on this one.

i change my oil around every two rides and i change the filter about once a month.

you should change the oil filter while changing the oil. better to be safe than sorry. if your oil has stuff on it and it gets blocked, good luck with your engine.

Every other oil change is "exactly" what I do.

IMHO that's perfect.

If the oil is extra dirty.. I change it of course. But if it's still pretty much "clean" then I jsut do the every other.
