400ex baffel removel

i was just wondering if there was any way you could get rid of the baffel but still keep the chrome cap and suggestions on how i could do that?

all you have to do is take out the 3 bolts on the end cap and then pull it out. Then take a cutting tool to cut the baffle off the end cap. I cutted mine about flush on the inside of the end cap. After you cut it off, reinstall the end cap and there you have it. Stock muffler without the baffle. Hope this helps you if not let me know. peace madmike

Why would you want to do that? It just makes it offensive without adding any power. I say cut your exaust apart, and mod it internally. If you want, I will e-mail you a tech artical I wrote on how to do it.

If you remove the baffle, I gurantee that with out a doubt,you will loose power and piss everyone else off, with the crappy sounding exhaust. You'd be better off buying an inexpensive slip-on. Your quad is designed to use a certain amount of back pressure to run at optimum horsepower.:huh
