i dont belive they make a 416 kit. just buy the parts you need seperate. all you really need is the piston and rings and a top end gasket set. you also need to get the cylinder bored to 87mm. there you have it a 416 for like $200. but a cam, port and polish, and some other litte things would wake it up more.

there are a couple places that sell a 416 kit. you really dont need a kit. its just a piston but they will some times add a cam, rev box ect. if you want to build a good 416 on a budget like i am currently doing. just get a good piston i used wiseco 11:1, a hot cam stage 3, port it, better carb i run edelbrock, or at least have a jet kit. and get a good pipe and filter and you should have a strong 416. i would stay away from the 440s they are not as reliable. to get a good 440 you have to build them up more than you would a 416 plus you will have at least one more bore left if you go 416

Curtas Sparks makes a pretty nice 416 National kit... until you add the prices up. Go through the site sponser C&D Racing and get yourself a gasket Kit and a 416 JE piston. I would also Buy a cam, hot cams would be the cheapest, most simple way to go. and you will need a full exhaust if you dont have one. then take the head to a machine shop to be bored to a 416 and find a good mechanic to port your head. or send it to a bike builder to have it ported. you will have the exact same thing with exception of type of exhaust and cam as what you would get with a so called "kit". for a fraction of the price.

I would go with the 416 kit. I have one in mine and there is definitely a big difference with the low and top end power compared to the stock 400. I have a TC exhaust and i run it on VP fuel. A 426 seems like too much of a bore, and my 416 is great for me.
