i recently put new swingarm bearings in my 88 swingarm, and after every race, they are filled with sand ect. and are seized. I service these bearings after every race/ ride. I was wondering if any one had any opinions on where the best place to tap a grese zerk into. I was thinking about filling the end of the bolt, putting a zerk on the other end, and drilling a few holes into the bolt, and the sleeve, so grease can get to the bearings, but would that decrese the strength of the bolt?
Thanks

I had the threaded end welded shut and installed a zerk on the other end. I also drilled a small hole in the center tube where the bearings line up. Since then I installed Helm bushings and have not had a bearing problem.
