well last summer i had seen a guy with a 400ex and he put an xr600 motor in it. I have seen the dirtwheels 300ex based quad with the xr600 motor in it in the magazine. SO i was thinking about finding an xr600 motor and stickit in my 300ex. I would up grade the susupension,gusset the frame and make new motor mounts. As for the enging swap i think it would be a fairly easier one because they are both air cooled, both hondas, and they are both simple motor designs. also it would look similar to stock, some might think it is a 250x cause of the kicker, and it would be one hell of a sleeper if i could get it done, so where could i get a xr 600 motor?
