I need any and all feedback on this carb. I've heard they are great. I am running a 416ex, stage 1 hotcam, 11to1 compression and I have a high velocity port job done. Is this carb the right one? and does anyone have one for sale, I am willing to spend pretty good money to get one!

Thanks guys

The FCR carb is a great addition to your 416, they are pretty user friendly as well.

I was wrong earlier with my description it is a 406ex but I'm sure that it will be just as good to get as if it was a 416ex

does this carb help out ALOT or is it just kinda minor, and where in the powerband does it help?

should add power right across the chart

I have a 39fcr on my 426 and it runs very well. I've been reading that a lot of z400 guys are running the yfz450 carb. I am upgrading my '05 yfz to a 41mm carb and have the stock one if you think it will fit. I can get any dimensions that you may need as well as pictures if your interested.

I agree with this. My friend had a 400ex with a FMF pipe, No airbox lid, Stage 2 hotcam, with a stock bore. He put a 39mm FCR and it gave more of a power gain then the cam did.

C&Dracing (site sponsor) has a pretty good price on a new one.

If you're on a budget, you can also use the stock 450r carb. I've heard it makes a pretty big difference, but probably not like the FCR. The up side is that they're only $178 new from Service Honda. The down side is that you will need to make some small modifications, but nothing too drastic. There is a member on here that makes adapters so that the 450r carb bolts right up (the 450 carb is a little shorter than the ex carb). Even with that, though, you'll still have to modify the choke lever and a vent hose on the top for clearance. I personally don't mind that kind of stuff, but some people do.

Hi,

I have a 39FCR for sale. It has the cable and aftermarket air screw. Bolt it on and take off! I'm asking $350 delivered.

Here's a pic:

Thanks,
