My computer just restarted itself again, while I reading my email. All the messages that were just received are now gone. Is there anyway to get them back?

A tip for the future....

You could go in to Outlook (assuming that is what you use), click on Tools, and then Accounts. Double click on your email account and a window will pop up. Click on the Advanced Tab at the top of that window. Near the bottom you will see a checkbox and next to it, it will say "Leave a copy of the message on the server". If you check that you will then have the option to set it to a certain # of days if you wish. Set it for something like 5 days (which I think is default anyway). They give you a couple of other options like leaving it on the server until it's deleted from the deleted items folder, or leaving it on forever, but I think the 5 day thing would work best.

Not sure how often this happens to you, but figured this would help. The directions above may vary slightly depending on what version of outlook you are using, but it should be pretty much the same.

If that ever happens again you might try hittin F8 at startup when you just turn your computer on. When you hit that you can tell it to boot from the last known good configuration. That might help ya sometime down the road.
