I am putting a jet kit into my friends ex tomorrow. He has a pro-circuit slip on, aluminum airbox, and k&n. We live in Se ennsylvania so we are below 2000 ft below sea level. What should the main jet be? thanks

160-165 is a great start point but ya will need to plug check and re-jet accordingly.actually 160-165 might be too big,i ran a 155 main with an HMF slip-on and a uni filter.stock pilot 2.5 turns out on the screw.but i also live in the south.

yea we installed the kit today and started with a 170 as the directions said. It started but it bogged out when we gave it gas. so we went to a 165 then a 160 and same results. we gave the local dealer a call and they said to follow the stage 1 directions so we did and put in a 146. It didnt start unless we put on the choke and it would stay on for like 23 sec. then i put the 150 in and nothing. what should I do? clip is on 3rd groove. mixture is 3.5 turns out.
