the car turns over when it wants to......when driving the power steering and brakes go......the car boggs down as if it was to stall.......i was thinking at first mybe the cellunoid(sp) or alternater........any of you chevy guys have any info.....the car is a 1995 chevy bretta
fuel pump. and starter soloniod? sound like a cupple un related problems. the brakes and power steering go when the eingine stops turning.

if its a auto trany
unplug the wire harness that run in to the tranny .
that will keep the converter from locking up and making it stall.
but it think the car has more than one proplem.
but try that and see

lol....well i have come to the conclusion that the problem is not only one thing but 2 things...#1 its a chevy.....#2 its my sisters car......and she drives it:blah:

My old 91 cavalier would bog down and cut out , it turned out that it was the fuel filter , it was very dirty and clogged since it had never been changed.
