need help fast... how do i take the ball joints off the tie rod.. i just need to replace the rod but cant take the ball joints off please help i want to go riding today and need to figure this out

Just back off the retainer nut. (basically double nutted). Then unscrew it. One end is left handed threads.. other is right handed. Simplest thing on the ATV to replace once you get the hang of it.
