Just saw on the news, somethin about terrorists hit London. They put a bomb in the subway or somethin. Fill us in

im watchin it right now and there were about 8 bombings in the subways and in buses. really sad news, but i hope it would have happened to france so they would support the US.

after knowing what it feels like I wouldn't wish it on anyone. But I bet this will jumpstart the old Anti-terrorist bandwagon again which is a very good thing.

What are the motives for france though? I heard they were just selected for the 2012 olympics.

Reports of about 40 confirmed dead . Bombs went off on the transit systems ( buses and subways) at one of the busiest times of day.

London was selected yesturday or the day before to host the 2012 Olympics .... I have a feeling this was the cause of these attacks .

i hate to break it to you, but this terrorism has been going on for 30 years. its the past 5 that have gotton the attention fo the americans and now the brits seeing it has happened on our soil.

you want to end it? let the military do thier job, and that my friends means turning loose the full might of our military. there is only 1 option that will work, kill them.

true, but if we threw political correctness out the window and started rounding up middle eastern men in this country and doing some checking i think we would be taking a step in the right direction.

No doubt. Thanks to political correctness and our ultra-liberal media, no one is allowed to call things like they see it, even when it's incredibly dangerous and right in front of our faces. None of the bleeding hearts in this country understand that this has nothing to do with politics or U.S. foreign policy; it's about progressing Islamic Fundamentalism at any cost. i agree with pappy alot. We definately need to screen alot more people that are coming into this country. I dont care if its politically correct to scan all mid eastern people or not, it needs to be done, or else this is going to keep happening here. The US military is one of the best in my opinion, and i support it 100%. As to the africa comment, i agree there too. Africa has been a complete chaotic mess for a long time. We have definately wasted alot of time and money helping a hell hole. We should stop helping under developed countries and spend more time and money working on fighting the terrorists or else this is going to keep happening.

The only thing about profiling against Middle Eastern men is that there is a trend for the suicide bomber groups using women as actors and even recruiting from other ethnic backgrounds (the Johnny Jihad types, brainwashing is a powerful tool that these people have mastered). Also lets not forget that Tim McViegh was a little old redneck.

So if you start watching one group another will jump up and bite ya! So to me as an officer on the front lines protecting the largest symbol of Democracy in the world is tough because you have to watch everyone because any one out there can be the next person that can blow up in front of you.

With proper training and better intelligence gathering we have maybe we can stop the next suicide bomber! So remember folks anytime you see something Frucked up and just doest seem right it probably is frucked up and should be reported. We are all in fight against terrorism.

i agree, but so far in the states its been 100% men and we shouldnt dismiss this simply because they use women and children over there.

they should have done more damage in iraq and be mopping up iran and syria by now...imo

and they damn well know the general area osama is in, and i have a gut feeling thats why we lost a seal team last week.

You can scan all middle eastern people , but that doesn't help much when the average , white as snow, person living next to you is actually helping out other terrorists .

As for Africa .... I don't think it's a waste of money from any country that tries to help them out . Pretty sad when more than half it's population has HIV or AIDS .... when half the population go to bed starving . We're lucky here in North America , because no one HAS to go to bed hungry ... we have programs to help people out ... they have NOTHING in Africa . The industrialized countries should contribute to helping give other people a chance at life .... if countries can spend billions of dollars to find out if there really was life on Mars ( who really cares?? ) then why can't they continue to help starving and dieing people?
