yup! here i am on leave right, i decide to bring my bike with me. i go visit my sis down in florida no problem. get up to soutch carolina and the first time i go out, some crackhead slams the brakes in front of me!! now i always wear an jacket, gloves helmet, and jeans. but... i couldnt fing my gloves today for some reason so... anyways, the section where i wrecked is horrible for having people pull out in front of you so i am trying to make sure nobody is gonna do that, and there are two cars in front of me. the first one (no turn signal) just randomly nails the brakes, second guy does the same, it surprises me and i hit the front brakes too hard and the next thing i know im looking down at the ground going f*** the bike endoesrolls over me but slides off, i jump up, the bike is coming to a halt, and the second guy is stopping. but where is the first guy??? i dont know! i know its my fault, but still. :grr: my bike is okay, i rode it back home, one mirror broke off, the winscreen is nicely scratched, the tailpeice is messed up, and my solo tail is screwed. i have screwed my hands up, my knees, my left thigh, and it burnt a small hole through my jacket and messed up my left forearm a little bit. screw the man! cops were really cool about it though...

not to mention the brakes on that thing are a little hairy, my buddy put in pads that are designed for racing apparently, and they are much more grabby than the old ones. maybe we shouldnt have thrown those in but we did it for track days...

Sorry about the wreck man. How do you like your 750? I'm getting one this weekend, I've ridden the 600 already and loved it, and from what I've been told it seems it's about the same with alittle more torque which makes it easier to ride, does that sound right?

if this is your first mike, i heavily recommend an 600 as i do with any new rider. i love my 750, it actually has (had because i geared it) an higher top speed than the 03 r1 since the 6th gear in the r1 is an cruising gear, and it is an wheelie monster! its also quite responsive but i still cannot recommend it for an beginner. great for an track bike though! which 600 are you thinking about???
